Welcome to MHC!
Recognition and Tax Receipts
The highest form of recognition we can provide is the confidence that your gift makes a difference in the life and student and is used exactly as you wish. We’re also pleased to extend public recognition of your gift in several different ways.
The Medicine Hat College Foundation gratefully acknowledges the support of alumni and friends who advance achievement in education, college athletics and the performing arts by making outright or deferred gifts.
We believe donor recognition should fits the needs of the donor, and be expressed tastefully and efficiently. We’re honoured when donors focus on the needs of students or choose support access to advanced education. Be assured that we are grateful for your support, and will work with you to share the story of your generosity to inspire the community.
We’re pleased to offer tax receipts for all eligible donations. The Foundation scrupulously follows tax receipt rules established by Canada Customs and Revenue Agency (CCRA), and we’ll be pleased to answer any question you may have. If necessary, we encourage you to seek advice from a qualified financial expert.
Donor recognition wall
The college maintains publicly accessible donor recognition walls at the Medicine Hat and Brooks campuses. These walls are updated annually to feature the many people and organizations that contribute to the well being of the community.
The naming of facilities is a desirable form of recognizing significant contribution to the college. As you may expect, the nature of the facility to be named in respect of your gift reflects the scope of your contribution.
Naming opportunities are available for gifts of $25,000 or more for individuals and $50,000 for corporations, whether the gift is made at one time or pledged over several years. All naming requests are subject to the approval of the Medicine Hat College Board of Governors. For more information regarding naming opportunities, please call (403) 502-8995.
Donors to Medicine Hat College will automatically be subscribed to real, a publication that shares stories about the people who make the college unique. The publication is printed three times annually, and mailed to alumni and donors. Additional copies are distributed throughout Medicine Hat.
