New Student Orientation

Get ready for Winter 2021

Welcome from Kevin Shufflebotham
President & CEO

We want you to have the best possible experience this winter. While learning looks a little different right now, we have lots of resources in place to help you navigate the first month at MHC. Whether you're on campus or online, we've got you covered!

In Part 1 of New Student Orientation (NSO), you will learn the need-to-knows about attending MHC, which include where to buy your textbooks, how to access your schedule, how to use college technology, supports and services available to you, and much more!

Completing this part of New Student Orientation is integral to your success in your first year.

NOTE: This section should take around 2 hours to review, so please work at your own pace to review. Content is subject to change as we continue to follow provincial direction regarding COVID-19.

  1. Review "MY FIRST FOUR WEEKS"  to learn about important dates you need to know and actions you need to take to start the semester on the right foot.
  2. Explore our "SUPPORTS & SERVICES" to make the most of your experience at MHC.
  3. Learn about "COLLEGE TECHNOLOGY" and be prepared to learn in the classroom and online.

Orientation Sessions: Jan. 4, 2021

In Part 2 of New Student Orientation, you will be able to join live sessions to ask questions with an MHC representative or connect with an academic advisor to start your semester off right. Additionally, there will be an International Student Orientation (applicable only to International Students) and Coulee Collegiate Orientation (applicable only to Coulee Collegiate students).
