Business bootcamp coming to Medicine Hat College

July 10, 2018

Local business owners, entrepreneurs, and sales teams are invited to get their organizations in shape with help from global thought leader and professional speaker, Deborah Peters. With an impressive list of high-profile and international clientele, Peters brings her business bootcamp to Medicine Hat College on Tuesday, July 24.

Known as the business accelerator, Peters’ bootcamp will address the six principles outlined in her latest book: structure, strategy, systems, processes, people, and revenue. Attendees will learn tools that create change, growth and stability that can be applied to any organization.

“We are excited to offer local leaders this unique opportunity,” says Wes Paterson, corporate training officer at Medicine Hat College. “Deborah’s experience is diverse and the information she can offer our community has the potential to boost business growth and value in the region.”

From Boeing to KIA Motors to the University of California, Peters has extensive knowledge and expertise to share. Based in Los Angeles, her previous experience includes developing training programs that cover leadership to renewable energy, facilitating a trade agreement between Canada and Panama, and successfully lobbying US Congress. She is also a certified master trainer in neuro linguistic programming, which creates new ways of understanding of how verbal and non-verbal communication affect the human brain.

In addition to the business bootcamp held at Medicine Hat College from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m., Peters will also host an evening Mastermind dinner at Paradise Valley Golf Course on July 24 from 7:30 – 9:30 p.m. There are a limited number of tickets available for both events.
