This course will provide students with an interdisciplinary opportunity to work hands-on in a lab environment in order to gain practical experience related to one or more disciplines related to the engineering of the built environment. Opportunities may include one or more of visual communications, business, plumbing, electrical, welding, pipe-fitting, carpentry, automotive/heavy equipment, or other interactions with external partners. Issues and topics relatingto workplace health and safety will also be addressed.
