Introduction to Wellness, Fitness and Nutrition
This course is designed to introduce students to the generalconcepts of wellness, fitness and nutrition. Topics include dimensions of wellness, nutrition and body composition, components of fitness, exercise prescription and physical activity. Laboratory experiences will provide students with an introduction to basic wellness activities that, in combination with lecture material, can be applied to individual needs and circumstances.
