MGMT 326 - Management Information Systems
Management Information Systems
This course focuses on the role of information technology in an organization and its application to business problems. Techniques for designing, implementing and managing information systems are presented. Topics covered include hardware and software, file management, database organization, networking and telecommunications, systems development and design, flowcharting, system security, backup and recovery, and artificial intelligence. NOTE: Students cannot receive credit for both MGMT 326 or MGMT 3265.
Prerequisite: ACCT 113 or ACCT 32
