Examination of the philosophy of palliative/hospice care, taught by faculty from many disciplines. An important focus includes the students’ self-exploration of their own beliefs, values, and attitudes about life, illness, death, and dying, and how this self-exploration shapes interactions with those we care for. Third and Fourth Years of the Nursing program are University of Calgary courses. The numbering system is based upon the guidelines of this institution.
