You have to apply to graduate through your student dashboard by March 15, 2023.
When and where will the convocation ceremony take place?
Friday, June 9, 2023
1 p.m. - 3 p.m. (approx.)
Co-op Place, 2802 Box Springs Way NW
How long is the ceremony?
The ceremony will last approximately 2 hours. You and your guests are asked to remain in the arena for the duration of the ceremony.
When should I arrive and where do I go?
All graduates participating in the ceremony will enter Co-op Place through the Stage Door entrance at the southeast end of the arena, indicated on the map below.
Graduates are asked to be in their convocation gowns and ready to line up no later than 12 p.m. Please leave all personal items with friends or family.
Medicine Hat College staff will be on hand to assist with your convocation gown and stole and provide you with the required material you need to cross the stage. The material will be labelled with your program and name. It is important that you keep this material with you until you cross the stage during the ceremony. Medicine Hat College staff line you up in alphabetical order (by last name) in your program. It is important that you maintain that order for the duration of the ceremony.
Gowns
How do I order my gown?
You can order your gown when you apply to graduate through your student dashboard. Convocation gown orders close on April 28, 2023.

Convocation gowns will be available for pick up on June 8, 2023 from 12 p.m. - 6 p.m. and June 9, 2023 from 8 a.m. - 12 p.m. through the Stage Door entrance at the southeast end of Co-op Place.
