Support Services

MHC is committed to generating greater awareness of Indigenous culture at the college and in the community. Our dedicated, on-site specialist is here to integrate traditional teachings into its delivery of education and activities. The Coyote Council gives all students a chance to have their voices heard on larger college committees including human rights, and will be directly involved with campus wide cultural events and activities.

Students are welcome to be a part of our Indigenous support space! Located in the F Wing across from crave, this gathering space welcomes, respects and supports the rich diversity of Indigenous learner and community. The Indigenous support space includes:

  • Connection to Elders and Knowledge Keepers
  • Cultural and spiritual advising
  • Access to financial support
  • Shared study space
  • Access to sacred medicines
  • Cultural events
  • Resource room
