Medicine Hat College’s School of Health & Community Services invites applications for the position of Full-time Instructor in the Therapist Assistant Programs, with a concentration on Occupational Therapy Assistant. This is a full-time position subject to completion of a two-year probationary period.
A little about the role:
The successful candidate will teach various Occupational Therapist Assistant specific courses, as well as courses within the Therapist Assistant program required for Occupational Therapist Assistant, Physical Therapy Assistant, and Speech Language Pathology Assistant students. The successful candidate will also serve the role as the Occupational Therapy Lead in the program and oversee the Occupational Therapy Assistant-specific content and curriculum.
Details:
- Bachelor of Occupational Therapy or related degree (Master’s preferred).
- Occupational Therapist in good standing with the Alberta College of Occupational Therapists (ACOT).
- Five years’ experience as an Occupational Therapist.
- Teaching experience at the post-secondary level preferred.
- Experience working in various settings preferred.
