Medicine Hat College’s School of Business and Continuing Studies invites applications for part-time, contract instructor positions for 2024-25.
Continuing Studies at Medicine Hat College is pleased to be offering the Intrapreneurial Leadership Micro credential. We are seeking an engaging instructor to effectively lead participants through the Intrapreneurial Leadership Micro credential, empowering them to create value through new products, innovative business practices, and effective resource use. change within their organizations.
This course is designed to inspire and cultivate a culture of intrapreneurship within organizations. Intrapreneurship involves cultivating an entrepreneurial mindset and behaviors within the existing structure of a company, encouraging employees to take initiative, think creatively, and drive innovation. Participants will explore the principles, strategies, and tools necessary to foster intrapreneurial thinking and create an environment that supports and nurtures intrapreneurs. Intrapreneurs can thrive within large companies, and the demand for them is growing.
A little about the role:
The primary workload will include delivery of in-person facilitation of Intrapreneurial Leadership Micro credential. Instructors for an Intrapreneurial Leadership Micro credential should possess a combination of practical experience, subject matter expertise, and teaching skills.
Details:
- Experience in intrapreneurship within organizations, demonstrating their ability to identify and develop innovative ideas, navigate corporate structures, and drive change from within.
- A degree in business administration or management provides a broad understanding of organizational dynamics, strategic planning, and leadership principles.
- Courses in entrepreneurship, innovation management, and organizational behavior are particularly relevant.
- Experience teaching or training in a classroom or corporate setting is beneficial.
- Demonstrated effective communication, organizational, and time management skills.
- Applicants must have basic PC skills and proficiency in navigating Learning Management Systems (LMS) such as Blackboard, and the ability to effectively conduct online asynchronous classes.
- A team player with a commitment to student success.
