Systems Outage Notification

Please be advised of a planned outage of a number of MHC ITS Systems starting the evening of November 10, 2014 and lasting all day Nov. 11. An outage is necessary to enable MHC ITS staff to migrate the underlying hardware of these systems to our new storage system as well as implement upgrades and configuration changes. This maintenance will allow for better uptime, better system response, and better performance. The outage is expected to last in excess of 15 hours with full service returning sometime in the evening of Nov. 11.

The following systems will be affected:

  • The Main Campus Website
  • All internal MHC applications. (COM, Travel Claim, Phonebook, etc.)
  • Sharepoint (Source)
  • Continuing Studies

Access to log on the MHC Network, MHC WiFi services and Portal will not be interrupted. Blackboard will be down for a few hours on Nov. 10, but won’t be part of the larger outage.
