Medicine Hat College (MHC) is inviting the community to attend a President’s Breakfast in Bow Island at the Legion on Tuesday, November 25, 2014 from 7:30 to 9:00 a.m. The focus of the event is to introduce the college president and CEO Dr. Denise Henning and new manager of regional stewardship, Reg Radke, to rural residents.
Radke explains that in his new role he has an opportunity to remain in close contact with the surrounding communities with the hope of building synergies that ensure MHC is helping to meet the workforce needs of the region.
“We hosted external consultations earlier this fall to get a sense of what our area needed and how others see MHC at its Best,” says Radke. “Now we will be in Bow Island talking about some of the feedback we received and the future direction we plan to take.”
Radke also adds that there will be an opportunity for attendees to provide feedback and further direction.
“The college is always open to collaboration and we welcome new ideas. It is important to us that we are future-proofing our institution and ensuring that we are a contributing partner in the success of the economy and that we are providing students access to education that prepares them for the workforce,” says Radke. “This is just one way that we are continuing the conversation.”
The President’s Breakfast is free to anyone who is interested in attending and all communities throughout the region. Please RSVP to firstname.lastname@example.org to reserve your seat.
