MHC hosts Information Evening in Medicine Hat & Brooks

March 27, 2015

Medicine Hat College (MHC) is opening its doors to current and prospective students looking to learn more about the college and the opportunities available to them.

The Information Evening will be held at the Brooks campus on April 1, 2015 and in Medicine Hat on April 2. Doors will open at 5:30 p.m. and presentations will occur throughout the evening. Attendees will have an opportunity to enter a draw for a $500 tuition waiver.

“We really hope that people attend this evening – whether they are still undecided about what their next step in life should be or, they have applied and just want to learn more about what support systems are offered here,” says Jennifer Fleckenstein, student recruiter.

Fleckenstein adds that this year they are excited to have faculty and students in attendance to answer questions about their programs. They’ve also split the presentations into two different areas- one for prospective students, and the other for current students.

“Depending on the campus that students go to there are a variety of representatives available from programs ranging from nursing and information technology to continuing studies and the trades,” says Fleckenstein.

Student ambassadors will also be available from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. for campus tours.
