MHC Rattlers kick-off the holiday season with athletics fundraiser
November 22, 2017
Sponsored by the Rattlers Booster Club, Jingle & Mingle will feature entertainment by Taking August; Trevor Moore, magician and comedian; as well as Nate Coehoorn, former Canadian football wide receiver for the Edmonton Eskimos. A silent auction will showcase more than 60 items and a portion of the proceeds from the event will go towards Rattlers scholarships.
“For a student-athlete, a scholarship can help reduce the financial demands of post-secondary education. It also allows them to focus on their classes, upcoming games and community outreach initiatives,” says Jenna Williams, community relations officer with the Medicine Hat College Foundation. “It’s always exciting when we get to help students enhance their experience at MHC by working with internal and external stakeholders.”
Kristina Segall, athletics and recreation programmer at MHC, explains that interest for this event continues to grow.
“What’s nice about Jingle & Mingle is that it’s perfect for anyone looking for a fun night out, full of laughter and great memories. It’s an opportunity for people to come kick-off the holidays with us and support Rattler Nation,” says Segall.
Tickets are $65 each or $480 for a table of eight. Cocktails will be served at 5 p.m., with dinner and entertainment at 6 p.m. Free childcare is available for children ages 4 and over. Tickets are available until Nov. 24 at www.eply.com/jinglemingle.
