MHC provides update on fall semester
June 25, 2020
Faculty and staff at Medicine Hat College (MHC) are hard at work preparing for the delivery of programming this fall through a combination of online and blended formats.
“Medicine Hat College has been working diligently to ensure the best possible experience for new and continuing students, both face-to-face and online. As we look forward to the upcoming semester, we are paying a great detail of attention to both of these experiences,” explains Kevin Shufflebotham, president and CEO of MHC.
“Learning that requires face-to-face interaction, for example, lab work and the use of special equipment, will get priority access to college spaces, whereas investments in new technology have been made to enhance the virtual learning experience for online courses. From faculty to support staff, the library to counselling, advising to financial aid, we will continue to welcome students and are ready to help them succeed in the fall."
Updates regarding Fall 2020 program delivery have been made to program webpages, and early information pertaining to course delivery and technology requirements can be found here. Delivery formats of the winter semester will be re-evaluated at a later date.
Additional details with program-specific information will be communicated mid to late July via student email and the MHC website.
