Back by popular demand, students and alumni from Medicine Hat College (MHC), Lethbridge College and University of Lethbridge are invited to connect to career and job opportunities at the 2nd Southern Alberta Virtual Career Fair on Feb. 10.

Delivered online via Careers4Canada, the event features a wide variety of exhibitors with human resources representatives and recruiters available live on the day to share information and answer questions.

“Like all institutions, MHC had to shift its approach during the pandemic to serve students in different ways and this joint venture with Lethbridge College and the University of Lethbridge is a perfect example of rethinking how we deliver services and make connections,” explains Shelly Drefs, student career services assistant at MHC.

“Whether participants are looking for a part-time job or are interested in exploring future career opportunities, the Southern Alberta Career Fair is an excellent opportunity to build networks, ask questions, learn about career pathways, and discover which companies are hiring now, and which are looking for summer students and graduates in the spring.”

All virtual employer booths include information about the company, list post-secondary majors and credentials potential candidates typically need, link to open job postings and provide specific contact information for that employer. Live chat will be available in all virtual booths from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.
