Medicine Hat College (MHC) is pleased to invite those interested in pursuing post-secondary to open house, an opportunity to explore programs and apply, on Wednesday, Nov. 2 and Thursday, Nov. 3, at the Medicine Hat and Brooks campuses, respectively.

Students attending the event can expect to learn everything they need to know about being a student at MHC in 2023. The campus will be completely open for students to visit booths, program areas and student sessions planned throughout the evening.

Student recruitment coordinator, Landon Heilman, says that attending open house will allow students to learn first-hand, what it is like to be a student at MHC.

“Open house is a fantastic opportunity for high school students and mature learners who would like to pursue a post-secondary education,” says Heilman. “We are always happy to provide general information about our programs, but open house provides students the unique opportunity to actually experience the campus, see the classrooms and labs, meet instructors and even talk to current students to decide if MHC is a good fit for them.”

The open house events each begin at 5:30 p.m. and prospective students are encouraged to attend the event at the campus in which they are interested in attending. In addition to the experience students can expect to gain, those who choose to apply for fall 2023 while attending the event will have their $75 application fee waived.
