Give your career the start it deserves with ACE Vegetation Service. We are currently hiring Vegetation Management Technicians for the summer to extend into the fall and possibly the winter months. This can be an opportunity to launch your career for next summer. ACE offers students in Forestry, Agriculture and Environmental Studies invaluable experience that can lead to greater opportunities after College or University. If you are not returning to school in the fall this job is for you.


• Be 18 years of age or older
• Recommend 1st year college or university education
• Have strong written and verbal communication skills
• Have a great attitude and be a team player
• In good health, bondable and energetic
• Be willing to work outdoors for long hours with overtime

All candidates must meet the following criteria when applying:
• You must pass a drug and alcohol test
• A valid class 5 driver's license is required
• Class 1 and 3 licenses are an added value
• Drivers abstract suitable to our insurance
• Standard First Aid Level C
• H2S Alive
• CSO / CSTS 2020

These certifications are an added bonus:
• ATV Safety Training
• Snowmobile Training
• Herbicide Applicator License (BC, AB, SK, MB) is a strong asset
• Wildlife/Bear awareness


A pesticide license is a strong asset—equipping you with the knowledge to make the right decisions in the field. Accommodations and meal allowances are provided while working away from home base. ACE offers competitive wages with opportunities to work overtime when required. This position involves:
• Herbicide application and weed management
• Record keeping
• Inventory and equipment management
• Weed identification
• Equipment operation
• Quality customer contact and public relations

Training will commence in early May and employment is expected to end the end of August.
