Description
Prairie Gleaners Society is a charity with a mandate of taking the abundance of food in Southern Alberta (and Canada) and share it with the hungry of the world.
Qualifications
No skills required. If you can cut the ends off a carrot, take a spot off of a potato, or wash a tomato you are qualified for volunteering at Prairie Gleaners.
Responsibilities
Volunteers are given all the tools (aprons, gloves, knives, etc.) that they need to prep the vegetables that we have gleaned. Choose one day a week (or two) to come out to volunteer. No need to sign up, just show up and we will direct you to a work station.
