Medicine Hat College’s Registration and Records department are inviting applications for a regular, full-time Registration and Records Assistant (Student Services Assistant II) to work at our Brooks Campus. This is an on-site position based at our Medicine Hat College – Brooks Campus in Brooks, AB.
A little about the role:
Reporting to the Coordinator, Registration and Records, the primary areas of responsibility for the Registration and Records Assistant (Student Services Assistant II) are to receive and input student applications and registrations, as well as answer and respond to the College telephone, in-person, and email inquiries. This position is the primary source of general information for Brooks Campus regarding the College calendar, activities, facilities, courses, programs, fees and admission/registration procedures to students, staff and the general public.
Details:
- Administrative Office or Information Technology Certificate OR an equivalent combination of related education and work experience.
- 2+ years of customer service experience.
- An equivalent combination of related education and experience may be considered.
- Essential to this position is managing the work within the required time constraints.
- Skilled in data entry, multi-step reporting processes, cash transactions and general administrative duties in a post-secondary environment.
- Communication and interpersonal skills to provide customer service.
- Knowledge of student registration and financial procedures.
- Considerable attention to detail for accuracy is required.
Hours of Work: 35 hours per week
Wage Rate: $20.92 per hour (Start Rate); $23.56 per hour (Job Rate) – Wage Under Review
