Human Rights Support
Medicine Hat College supports the development of a vibrant, healthy, respectful, inclusive and harassment-free environment. As a responsible member of the college community your behaviour should support the college's goal of providing that for everyone. The college provides access to people trained to resolve issues of harassment and discrimination. If you have any questions or concerns the Human Rights Advisor will provide you with confidential advice and support.
MHC's Human Rights Committee
MHC’s human rights committee is an advisory and working group whose purpose is to promote human rights within the college community, develop and implement initiatives that provide awareness, education, and information about human rights to the college community. With representation from college faculty, staff and students, the HRAWC meets four times annually from September to April and coordinates events and learning opportunities throughout the year.
