New Student Orientation

Welcome to MHC!

Save the date and join us on September 3, 2024 for New Student Orientation!

New Student Orientation is the best way to dive into your college experience! This event will give you information about what to expect during your time at MHC, so it is strongly encouraged that you participate. It's also a great opportunity to familiarize yourself with your program and meet your new classmates!

NSO is delivered in two parts:

  • PART 1: Online (watch for link in August)
  • PART 2: In Person Orientation (September 3)

Part 1

In Part 1 of New Student Orientation (NSO), you will learn the need-to-knows about attending MHC, which includes where to buy your textbooks, how to access your schedule, how to use college technology, supports and services available, and much more!

Completing this part of New Student Orientation is integral to your success in your first year.

In Part 2 of New Student Orientation, we officially welcome you on campus! Attend your program orientation to learn what to expect as you start your program, meet your instructors and other students! Schedules for Medicine Hat and Brooks campus orientations will be shared here in August.
