Hélio makes the class a safe environment. Through humor, jokes and a lot of passion, he is very approachable. He demonstrates not only his love for the subjects he teaches but especially his love for teaching. He thinks that having the gift of teaching is a privilege, which he continually tries to improve. Furthermore, for him, teaching is a mission. He says, knowing that what you teach someone can beneficially influence that person's life is very rewarding. It's a reason to live.
