Rick Robinson, Associate Dean

Began teaching at MHC: 2002
Rick brings a wide variety of business & college experiences into the classroom. Prior to his college-teaching days, he was a manager for over 20 years in both for-profit and non-profit sectors.
Over the years, Rick has taught courses in management, marketing human resources, cultural awareness, Microsoft Office & Adobe’s Creative Suite, and introductory accounting. He is currently the Chair of the School of Business & Continuing Studies. Rick was awarded MHC's Academic Achievement award in 2013 and the Instructor of the year in 2014 - 2015.
Rick's research has included a cross-institutional study of teaching methods, the impacts of academic violations on instructors, and is currently studying educational leadership at the University of Saskatchewan.
Fun facts:
- Every member of Rick's family - his wife and all three sons - has attended MHC.
- Rick served as the interim Dean of the School of Business & Continuing Studies during the Covid-19 (2020-21) year.
