I derive immense joy from teaching, as it allows me to contribute to the information technology community and help students gain a comprehensive understanding of the industry. I am grateful for the opportunity to educate and share my personal experiences with the students. In my classes, I strive to create an environment that mirrors a professional workplace, promoting valuable habits for their future careers. By incorporating my own experiences and highlighting the expectations of prospective employers, I aim to equip our students not only with the necessary knowledge but also with practical skills applicable in real-world scenarios.
The field of information technology is continuously evolving, with the fundamentals remaining relatively stable while everything else undergoes constant change. I emphasize this aspect to my students and demonstrate how they can automate routine tasks, freeing up their time to explore new and exciting technologies. PowerShell is often a valuable tool in this regard, enabling them to streamline processes, work more efficiently, and even delegate tasks with confidence.
When I am not teaching, I find great pleasure in playing sports. Both team sports like hockey and basketball, as well as individual sports like golf appeal to me. I believe that engaging in team activities, whether on the field, in the classroom, or in the workplace, allows us to appreciate different perspectives and broaden our horizons. It is through this collaboration and understanding that we can truly thrive.
