Since completing my Masters of Social Work in 2019 I have had the privilege of working with MHC students towards mental well-being and academic success. With a background in Addictions Counselling and Social Work, I strive to understand student’s experiences from their perspective and to create a safe, non-judgmental space where students feel heard and understood. I approach counselling with empathy and curiosity, adapting my style to best fit the need of the student in front of me.
When I need to re-charge I enjoy heading out to Elkwater with my husband and son, snacking with my best friend, trying out a new recipe, watching a movie I’ve seen a thousand times, or curling up with a good book.
