Writing Support

Writing support is a free service offered to all current MHC students. When you work with the

writing specialist, you will be given help to understand a wide variety of writing assignments including essays and research projects in all disciplines and programs.

MHC’s writing specialist is available for one-on-one appointments and small group meetings. Workshops on a variety of topics, drop-in times, and online tutoring may also be available throughout the year.

*Please note: All appointments MUST be booked through the online booking system. Support is available via BlackBoard Collaborate, telephone, email, recorded video feedback, and in-person (when possible). If you have documents for the Writing Specialist to review in advance of an appointment, please send them in .doc or .docx formats to writingsupport@mhc.ab.ca.
