Began teaching at MHC: 2000
After earning her Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Calgary, Adrienne launched her career in Calgary’s oil and gas industry, working with two major companies before discovering her passion for education. She later completed an MBA in Community Economic Development and joined Medicine Hat College, where she now teaches a variety of business and marketing courses.
Adrienne currently teaches Management 193, Marketing 171, Sustainable Marketing 141, and Sport and Event Marketing 221.
Management 193 challenges students to think critically while using Microsoft Office tools to analyze problems and create practical solutions.
Marketing 171 introduces the core functions of marketing, culminating in a full Marketing Plan developed for a real organization.
In Sustainable Marketing 141, students explore the marketing mix—product, price, promotion, and distribution—through the lens of sustainable innovation.
Sport and Event Marketing 221 equips students with the skills needed to successfully market sporting events.
In 2006, Adrienne was recognized with the Academic Achievement Award.
Outside the classroom, Adrienne loves staying on top of emerging business trends and spending time with her family—and her two dogs, who never fail to keep life interesting.
