I bring a lifetime of diverse experiences to my teaching, from my earlier career in Seoul in education and corporate marketing, to working in the Arctic as a young adult. I love trying new tools and technologies in the classroom and am always finding fresh ways to connect course content to real-world examples and historical insights. I find every class to be unique, and I work to keep things engaging and relevant for my students.
What I enjoy most about teaching here is the chance to work with a diverse group of students, especially those from international backgrounds, who bring their own perspectives and insights to the classroom. My classes are interactive, with a focus on creative problem-solving and self-improvement—values I practice both in and out of school.
When I'm not teaching, I'm dedicated to personal growth and spending time with my two teenagers, who I'm lucky to say sometimes find my knowledge to be helpful.
