Monalie began her career in accounting and finance, gaining valuable expertise in financial management and business operations. After earning her MBA, she decided to shift her focus toward education, driven by a desire to share her knowledge and contribute to the growth of others. This led her to enroll in an Education program and later pursue a Master's degree in Education from Simon Fraser University, where she honed her skills in teaching, curriculum development, and pedagogy.
Teaching is Monalie's true passion, and her commitment to inclusion is at the heart of her teaching philosophy. She believes in creating a learning environment where every student, regardless of their background or abilities, feels valued and supported. Outside of teaching, Monalie enjoys spending her free time watching sci-fi movies or traveling, always seeking new experiences and inspiration from different cultures and perspectives.
