Shawn has his Bachelor of Management degree with a Social Responsibility minor and a Master of Business Administration where his research dissertation studied Branding of Small and Medium Businesses. As a perpetual student, he is pursuing a Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) with the University of Edinburgh, where he is researching the dynamics of entrepreneur co-founders.

Shawn's capability is in crafting immersive learning experiences that connect with students. By seamlessly blending theory and real-world applications, students learn through application and practice. Students can expect to actively participate, collaborate, and engage in discussions, fostering curiosity and diverse perspectives.

Shawn understands that learning extends beyond the classroom to include the community. He recognizes that community support is a reciprocal process, enriching the educational experience and enhancing the vitality of southern Alberta.
