Medicine Hat College’s Enrolment Services team are welcoming applications for three (3) casual Student Enrolment Engagement Assistants (Office Assistant III). These are in person positions at our Medicine Hat campus, hours will be scheduled as 3-hour shifts, shifts will be scheduled from Tuesday to Thursdays between the hours of 5:00 – 8:00pm. Successful applicants will be scheduled up to 2 shifts per week as needed.
A little about the role:
Reporting to the Coordinator, Admissions and Recruitment, the Student Enrolment Engagement Assistant (Office Assistant III) is responsible for contacting prospective students to help them navigate admission processes, as well as promote the college community as a whole. As representatives of Medicine Hat College, callers provide information on campus events and changes, information on scholarships, and reflections on personal experiences of MHC. This position is ideal for current Medicine Hat College students or recent alumni.
The successful applicants will be enthusiastic and detail oriented, have tact, and possess excellent communication skills, including the ability to communicate clearly, effectively and enthusiastically via telephone.
Details:
- Grade XII
- Be dependable and hard-working, with excellent communication skills and phone etiquette.
- A good understanding of technology.
- Experience in customer service or marketing would be an asset.
Term of Appointment: March 11, 2025 to June 26, 2025
Hours of Work: Up to 15 hours per week
Wage Rate: $18.31 per hour (Start Rate); $19.99 per hour (Job Rate)
