Medicine Hat College’s School of Health and Community Services invites applications for a Full-Time Term Certain, Instructor in the Health Care Aide program at our Medicine Hat Campus.
A little about the role:
The successful candidate will be required to engage in all of the professional responsibilities of Full-Time faculty and contribute to an environment that fosters the success of the college and our students.
Term of Appointment: July 1, 2025 – June 30, 2026
Details:
- Must be a licensed, regulated nurse (RN, RPN, NP, LPN) in good standing with their regulatory college and free of conditions on their practice permit.
- Must have at least one of the following:
- Adult teaching experience.
- 5 years of nursing experience
- Completion of an adult teaching/learning education program
- Current CPR – HCP/BLS is required
- An equivalent combination of education and work experience may be considered
- Qualified applicants with teaching experience in a post-secondary environment will be well suited to apply for this position
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.

All faculty who are newly hired, or are on temporary contracts, must provide official transcripts verifying their qualifications.
