Medicine Hat College’s Advancement & Community Relations department is welcoming applications for Contract Student Marketing Assistants to join their promotions team.
A little about the role:
Medicine Hat College’s Advancement & Community Relations department is providing students an opportunity to be part of a marketing engagement team. The team will help with special projects, activities, as well as attend and host events on campus and in the community. They participate in content creation for social media and support guest experiences at college events. The focus is on authentically representing the college brand, ensuring current students are supported, helping prospective learners access education, and connecting to alumni.
Details:
This role is for someone who is comfortable approaching people and creating connections. Student marketing assistants must be self-driven and strong team players with exceptional communication skills. Each member will be evaluated on their strengths, goals and performance and assigned to tasks based on those criteria.
Student marketing assistants are expected to show up for scheduled shifts and prioritize work to meet deadlines as requested, whether with the team or on their own time. To be eligible you must be enrolled at MHC, attending classes and maintain a minimum 1.7 GPA.
Term of Appointment: Ongoing - April 30, 2025, with a possibility of an extension
Hours of Work: Vary, averaging 2-5 hours a week.
Wage Rate: $16.00 per hour
