“The presentation of our honorary applied degree is an important part of our convocation tradition and a chance to formally recognize and celebrate the dedication of those who help grow a vibrant future for our region,” says Kevin Shufflebotham, president of MHC. “The commitment and contributions of our past recipients are significant, and we look forward to naming our next recipient this spring.”
Last year’s recipient was Robert (Bob) E. Wanner, former social worker, city administrator, MLA for Medicine Hat and Speaker of the Alberta Legislative Assembly.
