Meet Jim Kuehn, a digital media design instructor, who is passionate about exploring cultural engagement through creative digital tools. Jim holds an MSc. in Digital Media Design from the University of Edinburgh, an MA in Marketing from the University for the Creative Arts, and a Communications degree which focused on film/mass media. He has also earned diplomas in drafting design, graphic design, and web media, which have been instrumental in his journey.
Jim's work has been recognized with awards, including an innovation award and a Digital Alberta award for interactive installations. Jim's forward-thinking approach has led him to explore user experiences for human-centered design, independent filmmaking, soundscapes, and virtual productions.
Jim's expertise in human-centered design is outstanding. He creates immersive experiences that strive to encourage participation. Whether he is designing interactive installations or creating things that move, Jim's unique combination of creative flair and technical expertise make him a prominent figure in the classroom.
