The opportunity to teach with ELCC began in 2003 when she started her MSW degree with a Specialization in Leadership while also having her private practice delivering trauma-focused therapy to children, youth and adults. Her research focus was exploring continuing education needs for rural social workers which yielded course development and delivery of a foundational Supervision course through the Faculty of Social Work at U of C, where she continues to teach as a sessional instructor.
Lee believes that experiential learning provides the glue for students to understand theories and concepts, especially in the study of Interpersonal Relations and Professional Practice. She has been the Clinical Supervisor for the Children, Youth and Families Addiction and Mental Health team at Recovery Alberta since 2014, and brings rich experience to her classes.
