Angela is a proud graduate of Medicine Hat College, where she earned a diploma in Early Childhood Development. After spending over 25 years in various positions and organizations in the field of Early Learning and Child Care, she has returned to her roots, eager to share her knowledge and experience with future educators.
Throughout her career, Angela has been involved in a variety of projects that support young children, families, and educators. Her journey began as an educator with all age groups and has taken her through various impactful roles, including facilitating family programs and professional learning workshops, coaching early childhood centers collaborating with community organizations and Piloting Flight (Alberta's Early Learning and Care Framework) as a Pedagogical Partner.
Currently, Angela works as an Early Learning and Childcare Coach with Grit and serves as a Trainer for the Teaching Pyramid Observation Tool (TPOT).
Guided by her core values of curiosity and compassion, Angela strives to ensure these principles are at the heart of her work, fostering supportive and engaging experiences for both children and educators. Her unwavering dedication and passion for the field of early learning continue to enrich the educational community, motivating others to embrace inclusion, creativity and collaboration in their teaching practices.
