My research specialisms are Wittgenstein, philosophy of mind/psychology, and lately, philosophy in and of pop culture.
My teaching specialisms are philosophy of mind/psychology, logic, philosophy of religion, bioethics, and the history and philosophy of mathematics.
My main ongoing research project involves a philosophical investigation, from a Wittgensteinian point of view, into the epistemological status, probity, and effectiveness of the wide variety of thought experiments natural scientists and philosophers extensively rely upon—using popular culture media as the venue of thought experimentation (in other words, popular culture as philosophical argument).
I maintain an open text consisting of a collection of essays for use in Problems of Philosophy and another open text of integrated readings for Bioethics for nursing and paramedicine.
