Client Processing & Dog Matching
This course focuses on screening and assessing interested individuals and their compatibility with a service dog as well as the role of the client of a service dog organization providing a variety of service dog specialties. Topics include client application, interviews, confirmation of eligibility, placement, and follow-up as they apply to an organization. Specifics of the temperament and skills of the dog, and matching a compatible client, based on needs and lifestyle are explored via cumulative case study.
