Health Promotion Practicum

Exploring care in the context of community with a focus on the
adult population. Students undertake practicum learning in a
variety of community adult placements. Introduces students
to assessments and interventions pertinent to professional
nursing practice and community- based care. Graded on a
CR (Pass)/NC (Fail) basis.

  • Prerequisite: Successful completion of all year one courses and
    acceptance in the BScN program
  • Corequisite(s): NRSG 305, NRSG 310, NRSG 320, NRSG 321, NRSG 350
