Perception
Introduction to the theoretical and experimental issues associated
with sensory and perceptual experience. It focuses primarily on visual
perception. Major topics include the visual system, visual attention,
the perception of colour, space, form, visual art, and motion, as
well as the constancies. Other topics examined include the auditory
system and hearing, touch, taste, and smell. In addition to lectures,
the course provides you with hands-on activities intended to illustrate
perceptual processes.
