Basics for the Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant
This course provides an introduction to the basic skills required by a
Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) to function effectively
in the workplace. Topics include goal-based intervention, creating a
treatment session, and roles and responsibilities of SLPAs. In-person
lab attendance at Medicine Hat College or an affiliated site may be
required.
- Prerequisites: A minimum of a C grade in KNES 265 or any 200 level LING & TAPC 111 & TAPC 112 & TAPC 113
- Hours: 60 (3 - 1.25)
