Social Work with Families

SLWK 208 provides you with a framework for understanding the diversity and changing concepts of family dynamics as related to social work practice and to develop skills for working with families. Students will apply social work processes to working with families and learn about theories of family, problems and how they manifest in families, reflect on your personal values of family, and view the family as a client.

  • Prerequisites: Minimum of a C grade in SLWK 101 & SLWK 102 & (SLWK 103 or HLSC 220) & (SLWK 105 or HLSC 320)
