Pathways Adult Learning Foundations
A “learning pathway” is a journey that adult foundational learners take when they enter our doors. Learning pathways are learner-centered, goal oriented, and focused on engaging adult learners by drawing on their strengths. Through a network of collaborative partnerships, safe and welcoming spaces, and the flexibility of our programming and services, learners will be supported along their unique pathways to further learning.
MHC Pathways programs offer one-on-one tutoring, instructor-led and/or online classes to learners in ESL, adult literacy, numeracy, digital skills, and skills for learning in each of the communities we serve.
Our learners are Canadian born, Canadian citizens, permanent residents, temporary foreign workers and First Nations/Metis and Inuit. Learners range in age from 18 years old to 55-plus.
