Elaine Dobek-Shandro, Piano Instructor

Elaine, pianist and teacher, has been on staff at Medicine Hat College since 1979. She has performed as a soloist and accompanist to the faculty and guest artists. Many of Elaine’s students have received recognition provincially and nationally. Elaine is in demand as an adjudicator and clinician throughout Western Canada.  

She holds a Bachelor of Music from the University of Alberta, a Master of Music from the Peabody Conservatory, and has done doctoral work with the University of British Columbia.
