Kayley has been a registered nurse since 2010. Her nursing background consists of rural nursing. Having the chance to try all different areas of nursing she realized how much she loved working with moms and babies. This interest drove her to take additional courses and become certified as a lactation consultant in 2014. This opened up an opportunity to work as a public health nurse for part of her career.
Teaching is such an important part of nursing across the profession. There is so much teaching that is involved when working with new families. This love of teaching has followed Kayley to her job as a nursing instructor. Kayley has been teaching at the college since 2021.
