Mereena Menachery, Instructor

I am Ms. Menachery, a registered Social Worker with 17 years of experience in clinical practice both in Canada and India; but you can call me Mereena. I am an Alberta Health Services employee, liasoning with Medicine Hat College. It is my honor to connect with students and support them in their growth. My practice is based on person centered, strength based and empowerment approaches. I integrate several counseling modalities predominantly Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Trauma Processing to support students in achieving their personal goals. I aim to help you develop adaptive coping methods, so you may thrive in your life during difficult times. It will be a privilege to work with you.
